"And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything.
Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else."
~ Acts 17:25
That's a rock! It puts new meaning to God being our Rock.
Though thousands of years pass by, Christians still proclaim in the Most Trustworthy Immovable God. Nothing: whether poverty, disease, sickness or death can shake the faith of the one who's trust is in the Lord. For, He is infinitely worthy of praise; there is none like Him; He is the greatest treasure.
Love it! Lisa :O)
I shall not be shaken.Good word to start the day.
Nice picture with encouraging verse. I didn't previously notice that verse 2 and 6 are so much alike. It must be important enough to say it twice. And elsewhere the Bible says that Jesus is The Rock and our Salvation (1 Cor 10:4 and Lk 19:9).
You heard this song based on Psalm 62? It's lovely. Hope you enjoy it: http://bit.ly/Psalm62Song
Lauren, I have to know where you took that picture. Really and truly the idea of that Scripture. I love it!
The Grand Canyon, USA :)
There is one rock that does not change,Perfect and constant in its form. While others splinter and derangeThere is one RockThat cannot alter in the storm. While thrusting power makes them strangeThis does not vary from its norm.Rocks, overheated, rearrange,Boil, overflow, cool and reform:Beyond earth's fiercest fury's rangeThere is One Rock.
David,Thank you for that beautiful poetry. What a blessing to read as I end my day.
