"And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything.
Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else."
~ Acts 17:25
God is amazing!
Great night shot - really accentuates the light of the world!
Jesus's self-testimony in this verse was rejected by the Pharisees, because men are not moths. For, by nature, people walk and live in darkness (Isa 9:2), and love darkness more than light, because they think their sins can be hidden (Jn 3:19-21). But God who created light in the first instance (Gen 1:3), "has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" (2 Cor 4:6). But only those who He has called, shall come to the light (Jn 6:37). So, Christian, "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you" (Isa 60:1). So, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven (Mt 5:16)."Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness. Whoever loves his brother abides in the light"(1 Jn 2:8-10).
He IS my light.
My forever light.
Amen! He is indeed :)
What a great reminder. May God bless you in a special way, Lisa :O)
I am so thankful for God's salvation - He truly is the light of the world!Hugs,Stephanie
