Beautiful verse and picture. There are times I get so frustrated because I know mean people who seem to prosper. I have to remind myself that God knows and that has to be enough.

Wow, what a neat picture! Thank you for the Scripture, my friend. I need to be reminded often to wait patiently on the Lord. Sometimes my selfish self wants to take charge instead of waiting for the Lord's leading.

Again, thank you for sharing! I was richly blessed.

Love and hugs,
Stephanie

A timely reminder. I need to hear the words over and over again.
Therefor your work is so important. Reminding me and Christians in general about the Holy and always topical promises, reminders and words of comfort. It's amazing how you manage to find this many treasures to link with your wonderful pictures.
I'm ever so grateful.

Our God is Almighty, so "do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God" (Php 4:6). "For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened" (Lk 11:10).

We need not be concerned with the ungodly who prosper for "they have received their reward" in this world (Mt 6:2,5), but even if we are having a tough time "we can rejoice and be glad, for [our] reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before" us (Mt 5:12). Consider their end, and consider yours!

Oh boy. I need to write this one in big letters! I am learning to just rest in God's presence and control and realize that God is in CHARGE of the big and small picture! Evil will not win in the end!

Hi Lauren,

I just had to share with you that this morning as I was reading my Bible, the Lord brought me to this verse and I immediately thought of you :)

I am very thankful for you as well, and for your sweet friendship. I am glad the Lord directed our paths and allowed us to meet.

Blessings and hugs,
Stephanie
