"And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything.
Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else."
~ Acts 17:25
Like Jonah, how often do we wait until we see no way out, before we seek the Lord in prayer. There is no place from where God cannot hear. He knows our afflictions and he is always near. Amazingly, Jonah's time in the fish was a sign pointing to Jesus: "For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so [was] the Son of Man...in the heart of the earth" (Mt 12:40).
This is good.
Why yes I feel I'm in a fish most of the time!! Love this verse! No matter where we are we can pray to,God and He hears us
WHat great advice - no matter where you are - pray! Lisa :O)
Wonderfully inspired once more. Thank you for reminding me of what I must not forget, over and over again.I cannot hide from His face, and it's never too late to pray. Our Master is Wonder upon Wonder, Grace upon Grace.
I often find myself trapped in a "fish" of my own making. Oh that my first response would be to pray to God instead of trying to solve the problem I created by continuing to do things MY way. Thanks Lauren!
AMEN! I loved reading the comments and like Lisa said, no matter where we are we need to pray. Beautiful, my friend!Hugs,Stephanie
