What an amazing privilege we have, that we can draw near to God, confidently, because our sinful hearts, minds and flesh have been washed in the pure blood of Christ. Hallelujah, what a Saviour!

I definitely needed to read this verse tonight. I have felt animosity towards someone this afternoon. I have focused on this person and my dislike rather than Jesus. This verse reminds me to give it to Him and let Him cleanse my heart. Thank you Lauren for always sharing Jesus in such a beautiful way.

Yes, let's do that.
I am old, and nevertheless need to be reminded what treasure I have in the bath of salvation.
Thanks for reminding me and becoming my evening devotional.

Though our sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow - we are made clean thanks to the precious blood of the lamb.
How thankful I am to have such a gracious and merciful Savior!

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith." AMEN!!

Thank you, dear Lauren! I just got back from Bible study and this verse was the icing on top of the cake - a great way to end my evening :)

Hugs,
Stephanie
