I can almost hear the seagulls and water and feel the warm sun on my face. Your picture is great with the verse you shared. I am so thankful that I can rest in God and for His great salvation. Thanks Lauren :)

My friend, I want you to know that it is possible for you to live this verse. God has made a way, through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him [Jesus], and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross. He promises that whoever comes to him, he will never drive away. If you’d like to know more, please ask.

Amen, Lauren. The peace that passes understanding does not always mean it will wear a smile, but that our soul is at rest in the hope offered to us at the cross of Christ. We are told in this world we will have troubles but that we can rest in the Lord and receive His peace. Christ met the cross with the kind of joy that would be hard for us to understand if we do not accept the propitiation of God.
